EXPERIENCE

BREAKING SOUND

In early 2020, I became involved with Breaking Sound, a live music showcase platform based out of Los Angeles. They approached me in January of that year to discuss heading up Breaking Sound Chicago, which, before Covid-19, featured live music from the hottest emerging artists at Emporium Arcade Bar in Wicker Park. What began as booking & ticket collecting, pivoted to an entirely online radio station broadcasted live around the globe. I hosted my own hour of programming from 2020 to 2022.

In late 2021 I was invited to join the team full time as a Marketing & Operations specialist. Since joining the team, we have expanded across the globe, and now coordinate over 100 shows a month in cities across the globe. In October 2022 I was promoted to my current position as Senior Operations Manager, and currently coordinate up to five live events nightly across the globe.

WEEKEND@GABE’S

At the beginning of 2021 I was brought on as the producer of Weekend@Gabe’s, a live virtual interview podcast hosted on Twitch and YouTube. My responsibilities included rebranding the entire podcast, graphic design in Photoshop, video editing in Adobe Premiere, curating a YouTube channel and booking multiple guests weekly.

Since I was brought on, Gabe and I were able to bring on award winning musicians, authors, activists, community organizers, comedians and more. In March of 2023, we decided to end the show permanently. We are really proud of the work that we were able to accomplish in over 2 years on the air. CLEVERTECH

Most recently, I was brought on for a contract with a web development consulting company called Clevertech.

During my time at the company I created a plethora of new content, increased their LinkedIn following by 2.5k, created a brand new company podcast called Commit Your Dreams, curated new YouTube content (including the largest viewership on their videos to date), and headed up a advertising strategy that brought in 14 new professional applications.

I enjoyed my time with Clevertech, but unfortunately they were unable to offer me a long term contract so I am now looking for my next professional opportunity.

TRIPC MEDIA

After graduating in 2017 I began my career in marketing focused on music and developing social media strategies for local Chicago acts. From there, a friend and I began a venture to provide a media company for artists to create and execute quality music videos. That idea resulted in the formation of Creative Culture Collective and TripC Media LLC.

VOICE OF BLOCKCHAIN

In late 2018 I got involved coordinating social posting & strategy for Chicago Blockchain Project. The relationship led to a promotion to full Marketing Manager of Voice of Blockchain, a three day in-person event that brings together investors, innovators, & influencers to discuss new developments in the blockchain industry.

After a successful event in 2019, we had an eye on 2020 until Covid-19 halted in-person events. Still, I remain grateful for the opportunity to hone my skills in marketing, social media, advertising, public relations, & more.

OFF CENTER CREATIVE

In early 2020 I began working with Off Center Creative agency as part of their Social Media team. Through managing posting & analytics on several brand accounts from alcohol to lifestyle, I gained valuable industry & agency experience. In addition to social & marketing, I worked closely with the design team to make new creatives & deliver on client expectations.

Unfortunately, due to the pandemic we weren’t able to continue on together, but it was an incredibly useful experience.
